Congratulations to one of the newest members of the Birtley Group team. Bronya Tubman, Design Engineer at Birtley Group braved the stormy weather yesterday to attend her graduation ceremony in Newcastle. The ceremony was a well-deserved celebration after being forced to finish her Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering degree remotely due to the pandemic.
Starting her journey in 2016, Bronya studied BTEC Level 3 Engineering at New College Durham before moving on to Newcastle College to complete a foundation degree in Engineering. It was here she extended her studies to achieve her full Bachelors of Engineering degree.
Bronya joins our Expamet Construction department as a Design Engineer where she is part of the windpost design team. Bronya comments,
‘The last few years of my studies were permanent distanced learning, which came with its own set of challenges. I am so pleased to have achieved what I set out to do and it was amazing to finally attend my graduation ceremony to formally mark my achievement.’
